Kendrick Perkins Reveals Top Unmissable NBA Matchups of the Season

Kendrick Perkins has compiled his personal list of Matchups that will be unmissable throughout the season. If you think about it, there would be more than 5, but the ESPN analyst listed the most important ones which, due to rivalry or market events, as we have seen in recent days, have aroused interest.

The old guard versus the new guard, the next generation of players, and the NBA’s present. There really is everything according to Perkins:

Curry against Fox is what we saw last postseason, a 7-game series in which the Kings never gave up. Embiid vs. Jokic, we know how the MVP race went last year. […] Doncic vs. Booker: They tend to always go toe-to-toe. LeBron James against Mike Malone, who threw digs at LBJ throughout the off-season. Holiday versus Lillard, they have nothing against each other but they will give everything when they play against

Kendrick Perkins

Joel Embiid vs. Nikola Jokic these will be the dates to be highlighted in red on the calendar. Booker e Doncic they will have done it for the matches between Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks which in the last two years, since the 2022 post season, have provided great spectacles.

Why not? LeBron e coach Mike Malone, who after the title victory teased his former player several times (Malone was on the Cavaliers’ coaching staff from 2005 to 2010, ed.), accusing him of having wanted to steal attention from him with the declaration of a possible retirement. In the end, Lillard vs Holiday: the match that will probably decide the Eastern Conference and who will win the title. There’s a lot of irons in the fire: the NBA season is about to start again.
