Qualifying for the prestigious event were Giulio Manenti (-73kg), thanks to the medal obtained at the 2022 Cadet tricolor championship, Lorenzo Tosi (-73kg), thanks to his position in the national ranking list and Gherardo Lippi (-73Kg), after the success in the recent qualifying competition held at the Palagolfo in Follonica. In addition to Lippi, under the guidance of the technicians Alessandro and Alessio Di Clemente, the Kodokan Empoli (in the photo the expedition to Follonica) also presented itself with the athletes Tommaso Manenti (-66kg), Davide Parri (-73kg) and Francesco Tosi ( -90kg). After Lippi’s gold, Tommaso Manenti, silver, and Francesco Tosi who came third also got on the podium. Finally, fifth place for Parri.
