With a two-second penalty, Satková lost to the only flawless finalist Fox by 4.04 seconds, world champion Mallory Franklin from Great Britain finished third. The 21-year-old Czech representative added a second silver to her complete medal collection from the World Cup and, after her best result of the season, took the final ninth place in the series.
Twenty-nine-year-old Fox didn’t win the SP on C1 this year, only in Tacen. On Friday, she added her third kayak championship of the year and won the overall classification in this discipline for the fifth time in a row.
