Highlights: Best Gators Moments from Week 7 of NFL Action

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  It was a bit of a slow weekend for Gators in the NFL. Maybe they all heard that “the Gators have a bye week” and got confused.

In any case, there were of course a few highlights out of the National Football League that featured our favorite former swamp-dwellers, and you’ve come to the right place to see them. Here are the best Gators moments from week 7 of NFL action

Offensive Highlights

Kyle Pitts is called the Unicorn for a reason. He is an outlier. Sure, he has a Tight End’s size and a Wide Receiver’s speed, that’s one way to view the name. However, Unicorns are also magical, and Pitts reminded us all why he earned the nickname with this magical catch against the Bucs.

Pitts also connected for this 39-yard reception, his longest of the season, in the final minute of the fourth quarter to put Atlanta into field goal range and eventually win over Tampa, 16-13.

After the game, Pitts and former Heisman trophy finalist Kyle Trask linked up for a jersey swap, the two being key authors of some of the best Florida Gators football moments in recent memory.
