Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green Injured, Uncertain for Start of Season

First small blow for the Golden State Warriors even before the start of training camp. According to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, Draymond Green injured his ankle during a training session this week and could be out for between 4 and 6 weeks. Green apparently sprained himself quite severely by stepping on his foot. Jonathan Kuminga during an opposition.

The Warriors captain is already out of the pre-season matches which will pit Stephen Curry and his gang against the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers twice, then against the San Antonio Spurs. The 2023-2024 season starting on October 25 with the reception of the Phoenix Suns, it would take a lightning recovery on the part of Draymond Green to see him in uniform that evening.

This will perhaps resolve, at least temporarily, the question of whether or not Chris Paul will be established in his new team. The Warriors’ five in pre-season could therefore be as follows: Chris Paul – Stephen Curry – Klay Thompson – Andrew Wiggins – Kevon Looney.

The Warriors are expected to conduct thorough examinations of their All-Star interior in the coming hours and officially communicate his situation at the start of the week.

After hating him, Draymond Green has a mission: to make Chris Paul win
