The Prosecutor’s Office asked, in particular, to understand whether the conditions that led to the young man’s death could have been ascertained during the previous hospitalization for complications of pneumonia; Samuel was discharged on Thursday, but twenty-four hours later he complained of severe pain in one leg and was rushed to the Civil hospital, where he died on Sunday.
