ISTANBUL – The name and jersey sponsor of Beşiktaş Men’s Basketball Team is Emlakjet in the new season, as it was in the last season.
According to the statement made about the agreement, Beşiktaş Club President Ahmet Nur Çebi, Beşiktaş Club Board Member Responsible for Basketball Umut Tahir Güneş and Emlakjet CEO Tolga İdikat made evaluations about the agreement.
President Ahmet Nur Çebi pointed out that they needed to fill the basketball hall during the matches and emphasized that they made important moves with the support of sponsors supporting amateur branches.
Çebi underlined that 28 companies contributed a total of 100 million lira to the club’s amateur branches last season and said:
“This was the first fuse we lit, the first step of a much bigger move. I said ‘The rest will come’ and as you can see, it continues to come. According to the new sports law, you cannot transfer football to amateur branches. Each amateur branch has to survive on its own.”
