At 74 years and 113 days old, Baker continues to write his legacy, but now as helmsman of the Houston Astros, the team he arrived to alleviate a credibility crisis. The Astros needed a man to give them legitimacy and confidence after starring in the sign-stealing scandal in 2017. Baker took a seat under public scrutiny and from that position was responsible for capturing the second World Series title in Astros history, but this time without any trace of cheating.

Starting tomorrow, Baker will face the Minnesota Twins in the American League Division Series. In the other booth will be Rocco Baldelli, a 42-year-old manager who will try to obtain the third fall classic in the history of the organization.
Baker and Baldelli are separated by 30 years and 1,808 victories. However, in a series as short as the Division Series it all comes down to winning three games.
