Fiorentina resolved the Cukaricki issue with a clear and resounding 6-0, and thanks to the 0-0 draw between Genk and Ferencvaros, took first place in the standings (along with the Belgians and the Hungarians) in group F of the Conference League. A match that the Viola had already closed in the first half thanks to a brace from Beltran, the first goals in the Viola shirt, and Ikone. Then came goals from Sottil, Quarta and Maxime Lopez in the second half. Fiorentina, thus, makes up for the bad misstep in the championship against Empoli, also allowing Italiano to give some players a chance to catch their breath, Nico Gonzalez, Arthur and Bonaventura above all in view of the next championship matches against Lazio and Juventus.
