The City of Rimouski will complete this week the repair work on the senior baseball field at the Guillaume-Leblanc sports complex.
Work planned for the fall on fields 1 and 2 will complete the interventions planned for baseball this year.
This major work represents an investment of more than $750,000 and was carried out in preparation for the 57th Final of the Quebec Games which will be held in Rimouski in the summer of 2023.
To mark the completion of the work, the mayor of Rimouski, Guy Caron, will throw the first official pitch, at the senior baseball field, during the first game of the Puribec senior league, on July 1, at 8 p.m.
