This Friday, the Argentine tennis player Facundo Bagnis faced the Brazilian Thiago Monteiro, in the quarterfinals of Santiago 2023 and the unexpected happened. Despite the defeat, the man from Rosario received applause, songs and total recognition.

“I am eternally grateful. They are those gifts that life gave me. I value it because historically, if people supported me the way they did, it means that I will have done something good,” he told AS.
