Challenge tour Laporta keeps control of Mallemort, Mory 2nd

This Saturday took place the third round of the Hopps Open de Provence, in Mallemort, France. Under pressure, Francesco Laporta managed to maintain the lead in the standings. Felix Mory remained in second place.

Joined in the lead by Lucas Vacarisas and Félix Mory, the Italian was able to find the resources to return a card of 69 and take sole control of the Hopps Open de Provence (-16 total). Less solid than the day before (three bogeys conceded), the triple winner on the Challenge Tour still made an eagle at 9 and four birdies, including one returned at the last minute at hole number 18. Lucas Vacarisas and Félix Mory must therefore for the now settle for the runner-up position (-15).

Author of a fantastic score of 64, the Spaniard was brilliant on the outward leg (six birdies), then was also at ease on the return leg (four birdies, two bogeys) to gain ten places in the rankings. For his part, the Frenchman recorded a nice record of 68, finishing strong with two birdies on his last three holes (six birdies in total for two bogeys). 4th place (-13) is occupied by another Franco-Spanish duo formed by Manuel Elvira and Ugo Coussaud. For the second time in a row, the latter completed the course in 66 shots, this time without making an error and thanks to four birdies and an eagle.
