Boulogne-Levallois suffers another defeat, Laurent Foirest’s position in jeopardy

Betclic ELITE – ADA Blois won at Levallois (82-87), plunging the Metropolitans 92 a little into doubt. For its part, JDA Dijon was able to count on a stratospheric David Holston (34 points) to defeat Élan Chalon in the Burgundy derby (73-66).

Threatened to be removed from his position as head coach of the Metropolitans 92 after a catastrophic start to the season (7 defeats in 7 matches), Laurent Foirest hoped that an electric shock would occur this Saturday afternoon in the heads of his players. The shock did not take place at Marcel Cerdan since Boulogne-Levallois lost again at home, against ADA Blois (81-87). For its part, JDA Dijon relied on an excellent David Holston (34 points) to get the better of Élan Chalon in the Burgundy derby (73-66).

Blois pushes the Mets a little further 92

Everything started very well for the Metropolitans 92. From the start of the match, Laurent Foirest’s players showed a conquering face. Carried by a good Axel Toupane (14 points and 6 rebounds), the Ile-de-France residents very quickly took the measure of their opponents of the day. Solid defensively, the Mets took off on the scoreboard in this first half, having a 15-length lead when they returned to the locker room (50-35, 20′).

But after getting off to a flying start in this meeting, Boulogne-Levallois fell back into its old ways, leaving ADA Blois to gradually catch up. Jostled in this third quarter and trailing by 3 points ten minutes from the end (60-63, 30′), Laurent Foirest’s men literally cracked at the end under the duo’s onslaught Milan Barbitch (15 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists) – Tobin Carberry (18 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists). In the lead for 20 minutes, the Ile-de-France residents saw their opponents take control and win (81-87). Boulogne-Levallois has still not won a single match this season in Betclic ELITE and Laurent Foirest’s position is increasingly threatened after this new setback.
