Bills Dominate Dolphins, Handing Them First Loss of the Season

ORCHARD PARK (AP) — Josh Allen threw four touchdown passes and ran for one more as the Buffalo Bills emphatically ended their division rival Miami Dolphins’ undefeated streak by beating them by a resounding victory Sunday. 48-20.

A week after Miami had one of the most impressive offensive performances in NFL history, beating the Denver Broncos 70-20, Buffalo (3-1) showed the Dolphins (3-1) a thing or two on an efficient offense, taking control of the AFC East.

Stefon Diggs caught three touchdown passes and finished with six receptions and 120 yards. Allen completed 21 of 25 for 320 yards and posted his 10th game with four touchdown passes.

Miami moved the ball reasonably well, finishing with 393 yards of offense, but the Bills forced two turnovers and sacked Tua Tagovailoa four times.

Buffalo (3-1) never trailed and finished with 414 yards of offense, scoring on eight of its first nine offensive possessions.

The Dolphins (3-1) missed the opportunity to start a four-win season for the first time since 1995 and take a two-game lead over Buffalo in the division.
