The history of Péristeri BC Bwin Athens:
Founded in 1971, the club won the Greek second tier in the 1982–83 season. In 1989-1990, Peristeri first appeared in the first level. After the 2003-2004 season, Peristéri was downgraded to the third division, due to major financial problems. In 2018, he reappeared at the 1st level. The club’s emblem is the dove symbol, and the club’s colors are yellow and blue.
Last season, Peristéri finished 3rd in the regular season of the Greek Basketball League (GBL) with 14 wins and 8 losses before being eliminated in the semi-finals by Panathinaikos Athens (2-3) and taking 3rd place in the expense of PAOK Salonika (3-0).
