Aymarà Costone seeks redemption against Pallacanestro Firenze

After two consecutive defeats (at home against Lucca and away in Livorno against Jolly Acli), Aymarà Costone is looking for redemption this afternoon to get back to moving in the standings which sees them with only 2 points under their belt after 3 days. But the obstacle to overcome is not insignificant, as Pallacanestro Firenze will arrive at PalaOrlandi with 4 points, fresh from victory thanks to the home success obtained against Prato. Despite the fact that the Gigliate team did not start their journey in Serie B well due to the dry defeat within the friendly walls at the hands of Pontedera, they now find themselves chasing the leading trio made up of the two Livorno teams and Lucca who are undefeated. It is certainly still a little early to say what the real forces of the Championship will be, but without a doubt the leading trio is strongly accredited by the experts and this first part of the season does nothing but confirm this trend. Furthermore, in the pre-season, Pallacanestro Firenze inflicted the first disappointment of the season on Aymarà, defeating them 54-49 in the decisive match for access to the final four of the Tuscan Cup, this match played on the Florentine parquet, while this evening they will be the Sienese to have the field factor on their side. However, the Sienese will show up with reduced ranks due to a serious injury suffered by captain Valentina Bonaccini who suffered a muscle injury to her inner thigh against Livorno which will keep her sidelined for over a month. A bad tile, no doubt about it, for coach David Fattorini, which adds to the unavailability of Pastorelli. It will therefore be a remodeled Costone that will attempt to subvert this negative situation at 6pm. Benenati and Volpi from the Livorno section were called to referee the match.
