The Atlanta Hawks have extended their respective contract options for the 2024-25 campaign rookies of AJ Griffin and Jalen Johnson respectively, the Georgia franchise reported in a statement.
Griffin selected with the 16th pick in the 2022 Draft from Duke will secure a salary of $3.88 million. Last season he played 72 official games (12 as a starter) with averages of 8.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1 assist and 39% in triples in 19.5 minutes per day.
For his part, Johnson was his 20th choice in the 2021 Draft, and will receive a guaranteed salary of 4.5 million. In 70 official games he obtained figures of 5.6 points, 4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per night.
