The national Under 18 men’s softball team obtained its ticket for the World Cup of the discipline that will be held in the city of Hermosillo, Mexico, from November 11 to 19 of this year, after finishing in second position in the Pan American Championship held in Sincelejo, Colombia, as reported by the Venezuelan Olympic Committee through the social network X (Twitter).
The softball festival that was held in the New Granada nation received those selected from: Argentina, (first place in the last two years 2022-2023), Canada, the United States, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia.

The tricolor team was made up of the pitchers Eudomar Toyo, Erick Urbaneja, Victor Guedez y Frank Ugas. At the reception they were Rafael Flores y Jesus Quintero. In addition, the infielders Jorge Lima, Erwin Diaz, Edinson Marrero, Braitne Martínez.
In the case of the gardeners they were covered by Engelberth Herrera, Carlos Villegas, Michelle Chirinos y Luis Osorio.
It should be noted that Venezuela has just won the bronze medal in the recent Central American and Caribbean Games, held in San Salvador 2023.
