The work stoppage continues in the institutes of Social Sciences and Humanities (ICSHu), Health Sciences (ICSa) and Administrative Economic Sciences (ICEA), which is why they have prevented students and workers from entering the campus.

Since yesterday afternoon, the students called for a general strike of activities in other institutes, for which academic activities in the institution are suspended to demand the opening of the educational authorities of the UAEH.

Violence and riots in the UAEH

On Tuesday, September 19, in a confrontation with alleged university workers, several students and parents were injured due to injuries caused by sticks and pipes, as well as pepper spray and various gases thrown at them.

Despite the above, the university pointed out that the protest was not peaceful and that is why they destroyed the property on the site.
