The Vetusta resists in Langreo

Langreo and Vetusta signed a draw in a match without many chances, which ended without goals, but in which it was the home team that looked the most for the goal that could unbalance the contest, especially in the last quarter of an hour, when it played with one more. The duel began with the two teams testing each other, looking for the wings. The two coaches used a similar system in which the pivots were very protagonists. For Langreo, Juan López and Iago Novo, and for Vetusta, Yayo and Nacho Estrada.

Both Javi Vázquez and Jaime Álvarez introduced changes with respect to the previous day. The first left out Dani Hernández and Ángel Sánchez, making way for Rabanillo and Pablo Ares. Jaime Álvarez, for his part, ruled out Osky and Darío Hidalgo, in addition to Charbel and Enol, called up with the first team. In the first half, Vetusta dominated on the right, with the penetrations of Sesé and Diego Menéndez, who placed good crosses that found no finisher. Meanwhile, Langreo had Juan López as their most active player, putting Marco in trouble on two occasions, who sent him dangerously over the crossbar for a corner.

In the second half, Langreo took a step forward and made Vetusta retreat with the inclusion by Javi Vázquez of Steven and Imad, who teamed up with Nané, playing practically with three forwards, against a Vetusta that, with the expulsion of Pereke, dedicated himself to preserving the point so as not to return empty from New Ganzábal. Langreo tried and ended the match with a shot from Imad that Marco barely saved from the bottom, already in stoppage time.
