ROMA – On the sidelines of the presentation conference of the public debate on the Roma stadium, the mayor Roberto Gualtieri also spoke on the theme of the famous photo taken with Lukaku on the day of its presentation and that was poorly digested by the president of Lazio: “Lotito’s criticisms? Actually he said he didn’t comment, he held back (laughs). It wasn’t a particularly significant episode, there are excellent relations between the administration and the companies. And we are close to both. We also invited Lazio to celebrate second place in the Campidoglio, but it was not possible. From the institutional point of view there is complete equanimity. Indeed, I have a Council full of Lazio (ride, n.d.r.). As mayor, I work to ensure that there is full support for both Roma Capitale companies. There is a total balanced and correct attitude. Then as a person everyone has his own football faith, and I think the fans are happy that the mayor does not hide what he thinks. The important thing is to distinguish institution and person. As a fan, I say that it was a difficult start for Roma, but we have a squad that has strengthened a lot and we are confident that they will be able to assert themselves”.
