The cancellation of the challenge, which was to take place this Sunday, September 24, raised a lot of questions. « The challenge is postponed, not canceledunderline the leaders of the Guise Taï chi Yoseikan club, Evelyne and Gilles Geoffroy. It’s a challenge that we traditionally set up at the end of May and this year it was moved to September to attract new members. The club is planning towards 2024, “ the challenge will be postponed to its initial date, in May. The date remains to be determined.” Mitchi Mochizuki is the son of grandmaster Hiroo Mochizuki, who created yoseikan budo and introduced judo, aikido and karate in the 1960s in France.

To attract new practitioners, the club has no shortage of ideas. “ We will re-communicate with the schools in Guise and plan to organize an open day to raise awareness of the discipline. We are always looking for new members to join our ranks, the club wants to maintain its activities while developing them. »
