The residents of the Granada municipality of Cúllar Vega will be able to practice more than 25 different sports during this 2023/2024 academic year, thanks to the Municipal Sports Schools that the City Council has launched again this year, and whose offer has just been presented.
The disciplines offered range from skating, paddle tennis, handball, judo and volleyball to rhythmic gymnastics or basketball, including petanque, football or chi kung, “and all of them have been launched by the City Council together with the different sports clubs and associations in charge of teaching them,” said the Cullero Sports Councilor, Felipe Pérez de la Rosa.
The older residents of Cúllar Vega will also be able to practice maintenance gymnastics, yoga or sewing, thanks to the activities organized by the City Council together with the Day Center and the ‘La Huerta’ Women’s Association.
Educate through sport
The mayor of Cúllar Vega, Jorge Sánchez, highlights “the impressive sports offer that our municipality has, one of the most complete in the Metropolitan Area, and encourages local families to educate their children through sports. hand of the City Council and the sports clubs”.
