It was held today, Sunday 24 September, at the PalaVejanum Viggianothe interregional “Indoor” 18 meter archery competition.
The event saw the participation of all the Lucanian category sports associations and two Apulian clubs.
There were a total of 68 participants registered for the tournament, divided into morning and afternoon sessions.
These are data that encourage the practice of a noble sport that can boast a historic tradition.
In this sense, also on behalf of the local sports association “ASD Arcieri le Tre Torri Viggiano”, the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Viggiano expresses particular satisfaction Paolo Varalla:
“This is an important day because this noble sporting practice also allows disabled people to express their talent. Another fact to be underlined with enthusiasm concerns the high participation of athletes from all over the region and also from outside. I would like to thank ASD Arcieri le Tre Torri Viggiano for having contributed to the organization of an important event of interregional dimension. As far as we are concerned, we will continue by every means to encourage the practice and diffusion of all sporting disciplines. The structures of the Municipality of Viggiano remain available for anyone who wants to help us carry forward these virtuous processes of sharing and inclusion.”
The ASD Arcieri “Le Tre Torri” Viggiano company, through this letter, thanks the “Fit Arco Basilicata” and in particular the race director Maura Macchi for the professionalism and splendid collaboration also shown in the management and organization of the race.
