The Nationals beat the Cardinals team in the first week, in a fairly disputed duel where they won 20 to 16, while for the second the drama extended until the last minutes, but they had better hold on and beat the Broncos. In their first matchup, the Bills team lost to the Jets who wanted to exceed all expectations, winning 22-16. For the second game of the season, the Buffalo team would recover, beating the Raiders 38 to 10.
