Success for Frigintini who returns from Mascalucia with a clear 1-5

The match ends 1-5 which saw the protagonists on one side, as hosts Mascalucia San Pio X and Frigintini Calcio Città di Modica.

Mascalucia’s goal came just two minutes after the kick-off at a moment in which the rossoblu, according to the club, seemed to have suffered “a real collective injury to the entire defensive department”.

Frigintini, however, didn’t get too upset and first equalized in the 16th minute and then (in the 21st minute) took the lead with a brace from Kevin Sangiorgio.

On the first goal it was Simone Drago who provided the winning assist, while on the second goal it was Gabriele Giurdanella who centered a cross on which the rossoblù number seven arrived before anyone else and scored the goal to overtake the score at 1-2 . A situation that remains so until the end of the first 45 minutes of the game.

At the beginning of the second half, first Buscema and then Sangiorgio himself missed the opportunities to round the score and secure the result. However, in the 7th minute it was again Kevin Sangiorgio who scored the goal to make it 1-3, while in the 10th minute he returned the winning assist to Simone Drago who scored the goal to make it 1-4. At this point the fate for the local team is certainly sealed and for Samuele Buoncompagni the opportunity presents itself to send on the field the unders who have found less space in this first part of the season.

Thus it also ends in glory for Pietro Avola who, having been on the pitch for around a quarter of an hour, scores – a few minutes from the end – the fifth goal for the rossoblù.

Frigintini football City of Modica, therefore, victorious 5-1 away. A result that allows the team to maintain the leadership of the standings in group D of the Promotion championship. Now we are waiting to know the results of the other two teams that join the rossoblù at the top of the table.
