MoraBanc reacted in the second quarter and managed to take the lead with a triple from Markel Starks to make it 20-19. The offensive inspiration of an ex-MoraBanc, Sergi García, kept Veljko Mrsic’s team alive.

The Mallorcan point guard scored 10 points and had a nice scoring duel with Marin Maric. MoraBanc’s Croatian center, who only scored 2 points in his debut against Surne Bilbao Basket, went into the break with 11 points, 2 rebounds and a PIR of 9.

Maximum equality was the predominant note and was broken with a 2+1 and a triple on the horn by Ádám Somogyi to make it 40-36.

After the break, Natxo Lezkano’s men offered their best version with an 11-4 run to make it 50-40. The success from the line of 6.75 with a triple from Goudelock and another from Stan Okoye was key to the maximum difference for those of the Principality with 50-38.

Velkjo Mrsic’s men hit the key when they were most behind in the electronics and a 1-7 draw brought them closer to 51-46.

A timeout by Natxo Lezkano reactivated MoraBanc and a triple by Mijahlo Andric fueled the local confidence (55-46) with 1.19 left in the third act. The third quarter, with impeccable defense by the Andorrans, ended with 57-49.

A 0-5 run with five points from Stefan Momirov brought Río Breogán within two (57-55). The tie came with a tackle by Jogela and when 3 minutes into the last quarter, Natxo Lezkano had to call a timeout to stop the 0-7 partial.

The visitors continued their recital with an eight-meter triple off Momirov’s board. The partial was growing and so was the difference. With 0-14 and 57-64.

The first two points of the fourth quarter for the locals came with 3.06 left, thanks to Markel Starks. MoraBanc had the option of getting closer to five points, but failed in the decisive attacks with errors by Rafa Luz in one attack and another by Markel Starks.
