New York Jets suffer football lesson from Dallas Cowboys

The magic did not happen in the camp of the New York Jets since they were given a football lesson by the Dallas Cowboys who won by a score of 30 to 10 Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in Texas.

Despite Aaron Rodgers’ injury, Zach Wilson was the starting quarterback for the Jets. Unlike Monday where he managed to lead his team to a triumph against the Buffalo Bills, Wilson had a rather dismal performance.

The one who is in his third season with the Jets suffered three interceptions in the clash and he only completed 12 of his 27 relays for gains of 170 yards.

The 24-year-old athlete, however, made a great play in the second quarter when he completed a 68-yard pass to his receiver Garrett Wilson to score the only major of the game for New York. It was also the longest NFL career play for the second-year receiver.

If the big guns in the Jets attack did not really stand out in the duel, it was quite the opposite for those of the Cowboys including quarterback Dak Prescott. The veteran quarterback completed 31 of 38 passes for 255 yards through the air and banked two touchdown passes.

Dallas’ defense also did its part in the clash. Star linebacker Micah Parsons gave the New York offense a bad time as he finished the game with four tackles as well as two sacks.

49ers hold off Rams

The San Francisco 49ers won by a score of 30 to 23 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

Niners center Brock Purdy has yet to lose in six regular starts. Purdy concluded his day’s work with a 206-yard haul.

Rams rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua made history during the clash. He became the first in NFL history to have 10 catches and 100 passing yards in his first two career games.
