But what does it consist of ProPLAY? Basically the developers instead of using the motion capture they are now able to replicate movements, shots, and much more with maximum realism, simply digitizing the footage NBA.
With ProPLAY we will now have animations taken directly from most important matches, with plays in the most critical moments recreated in minute detail. Think about it, it’s more faithful a shot than a player with a mo-cap suit in one fake game, or a contested shot between two of the strongest basketball players in the world in a title race?. This is the kind of realism that 2k wants to introduce into their video games starting from this chapter. Be careful though, this technology is present only in versions Playstation 5 e Xbox Series X|S of NBA 2K24.
The new animations introduced thanks to ProPLAY concern Jump shots, dunks, layups, dribble moves, pass animations, and signature moves (offensive and defensive).
In addition to these new animations, it seems that the gameplay has been significantly changed, with the return of adrenaline boosts, new ways to call plays, and an overhauled defense.
