Milwaukee Brewers Maintain Division Lead with 4-2 Victory over Miami Marlins

The Milwaukee Brewers retained their hold on first place in the Central Division with a 4-2 victory over the Miami Marlins on Thursday.

Milwaukee is now 4.5 games ahead of the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers have won three of their four games against the Marlins, who can still hope to qualify for the playoffs.

Tyrone Taylor drove in two runs on two hits including a double in the win.

Adrian Houser (6-4) was the winning pitcher. In five innings, he gave up two earned runs on five hits while getting five strikeouts. Devin Williams made his 34th save.

Eury Pérez (5-5) suffered the loss after giving up three earned runs on five hits in 4.2 innings. He did not walk and had seven strikeouts.
