After the fourth stage of the World Series in Constanta in Romania where Manon Kury finished 5th, on September 7 and 8, she flew to Greece to Heraklion where the third edition of the Mediterranean Beach Games is being held. Manon gets off to a bad start in her competition. She lost in her first match (2-1) against the Spaniard Perez Tourino Lydia, but recovered very quickly by winning the two following group matches against the Italian Contrafatto Bianca (4-1) and against the Greek Papavasileiou Agoro (1-0). She reached the semi-final against her compatriot Mathilde Guedon, whom she beat. In the final against the Spaniard Lydia Perez Tourino, she lost and finished her competition with a silver medal. The next and last competition for sand wrestling 2023 will be the final of the world series stage 5 in Turkey on October 14 and 15, where Manon will be part of the French team selection.
