Las Vegas Raiders Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers to Miss Game Due to Concussion

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will not play in Sunday’s game in Buffalo against the Bills due to a concussion.

Meyers was injured in Sunday’s 17-16 win over the Denver Broncos. He led his team’s receivers with 81 receiving yards in this game.

He scored both of his team’s touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown on a six-yard catch with 6:34 remaining. He was hit in the head on the next offensive play with the Raiders down to the final five minutes of play.

Meyers’ absence could mean more work for wide receivers Hunter Renfrow and Kristian Wilkerson, in addition to tight end Michael Mayer.

“We won’t have another week without having someone hurt,” Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said. The season has started and injuries keep happening. Other people will have the chance to play and produce. That’s what we expect from them and we’re excited that opportunities are coming their way. »
