Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Chandler Jones says he was taken to the hospital and a mental health treatment center against his will last week.
In a post on social media, Jones claims that 5 to 7 police officers showed up at his home with the aim of taking him to the hospital.

Jones has been sidelined with the Raiders for three weeks as he posted a series of quotes on X, formerly Twitter, regarding the Raiders organization, including general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels. He was placed on the non-football injured list last week by the team.
The 33-year-old says he tried to contact Ziegler multiple times to understand the situation, with no response.
Jones is currently in the second year of a three-year, $51 million contract. He has missed his team’s first three games of the season so far.
