Kylian Mbappe Proves Loyalty to PSG with Stellar Performance and Leading Goal Scoring in Ligue 1

BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID – It seems that Real Madrid and Liverpool deserve regret, Kylian Mbappe has proven his loyalty to Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

After the hot transfer saga during the summer of 2023, Mbappe proved his loyalty to PSG in the three matches he played at the start of the new Ligue 1 season 2023/2024.

Most recently, the match against Olympique Lyon on Monday (4/9/2023), Mbappe brought PSG to win with a convincing score of 1-4.

Mbappe scored two goals in that game with a penalty in the 4th minute and a flick at the end of the first half in the 45+2′.

Meanwhile, other goals from PSG were scored by Achraf Hakimi in the 20th minute and Marco Asensio in the 38th minute.

All of PSG’s goals were scored in the first half. Lyon’s consolation goal was obtained through Tolisso’s penalty in the 74th minute.

This victory has made PSG now perch to the runner-up position in the French League standings with eight points.

The club, the pride of the Parisians, is now just two points behind AS Monaco at the top of the standings.

PSG are back on track to win and so is Mbappe. He was back on track to win the golden boot award.

In the last two matches he led to victory for PSG and always scored two goals.

The 24-year-old striker has never failed to score in the last league matches and has scored five goals for PSG so far.

He now leads the list of top scorers, aka top scorers in Ligue 1.

What Mbappe has shown with PSG has answered fans’ doubts about his loyalty.

This comes after the transfer saga and the rift between him and the club during the 2023 summer transfer window.
