Kipsang is out of the World Road Running Championships squad

Kipsang was not included in the final Kenya squad released by the International Association of Athletics Federations on Wednesday, but Athletics Kenya director of competitions Paul Mutui said his absence would not affect the team.

Motoi said Kipsang, who finished fourth in the 1500m final at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, had asked to be excused during the final entries in the men’s road mile.
