Defendant from Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde admits crimes in court

A judo trainer from Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde confessed before the Hagen regional court on Thursday (September 21st) that he had sexually abused 23 children – over 1,200 times. The abuse is said to have happened over a period of 20 years. The 34-year-old has had to answer before the regional court since Thursday (September 21) for serious sexual abuse of children.

The trainer is said to have met children at judo in Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde

He is said to have met many of his victims through judo training. Crime scenes included the training rooms and changing rooms. The trial is taking place behind closed doors – the verdict is expected at the beginning of November. According to the regional court, the defendant’s full confession could shorten the trial. As the trial progresses, police officers will be interviewed and a report will be drawn up.
