Istituto Comprensivo Paritario S. Lucia Filippini Joins ‘First School Basics’ Project to Promote Sports and Well-being

The Istituto Comprensivo Paritario S. Lucia Filippini joined the project First school basics from the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation in collaboration with Sport & Salute, which is aimed at primary school classes, presented to the Institute by the technicians of Montefiascone Baseball.

The aim of the project is to build an educational path for children where sports practice can be experienced as a tool for psychophysical well-being. This is done through games of various kinds, which aim to improve basic motor patterns and develop coordination skills, as well as pursuing the diffusion of the positive values of sport.

In this way, play, in its various forms, is experienced by children as a moment of comparison not based on selectivity and free from conditioned results.

These are the principles that Federbaseball requires in youth activities and to which the Montefiascone club has firmly adhered, in the exclusive interest of the physical and personal growth of the children.

The activity by the Maestre Pie will be carried out during Motor Education hours, starting from the beginning of October and until December, with rubber mallets and soft balls, suitable for beginners and made available by the Federation, under the guidance of the technicians provided from Montefiascone Baseball, who have been trained specifically for school activities.

The project also offers a series of clips aimed at the parents of the pupils involved, developed in collaboration with the School of Sport and focused on nutrition and sports motivation. The Change The Game Association will deal with emotional and physical abuse in its clips.

“We are pleased with this new collaboration with the Maestre Pie, an educational institution that has contributed so much to the education of the young people of Montefiascone – declared the President of Montefiascone Baseball Tabarrini – and we are certain that for our company it will represent an important contribution to the diffusion of baseball knowledge. For this reason we have made two of our best youth technicians available to the project, the Venezuelan Luis Olmedo and Costantino Russo. We wish them and the boys all the best.”

The trial period for new members also continues until September 30th. Info: Roberto Ballarotto 3478957233.
