He Huelva TSV A new season begins next Monday at the facilities of the Diego Lobato Municipal Sports Center, in partnership with the Huelva City Council. The sports entity thus begins its ninth season under this name and directed by Santiago Mazarío and Almudena Gómez; However, this new course marks the 25th anniversary as coach of Santiago Mazarío.
A lifetime dedicated to this discipline in which, in a pioneering way in Huelva, they have achieved Outstanding successes in our province and Andalusia, such as a ninth place in an Absolute World Championship (Budapest 2017), three medals in European Championships (Under-23, Junior and Cadet category), more than 24 medals in international tournaments, more than 60 medals in Spanish Championships and many others in regional championships. A thickened sporting record in the competitive field that has also served to feed and motivate the most formative and educational branch of the entity in working with its youth academies, creating and believing in comprehensive training through sport.
Beyond the vocation and passion, Santi and Almudena have made this project grow and mature from the conviction of a solid academic and sports background. Both, Graduates in Sports Sciences from the University of Huelva, have continued their training, completing up to a total of 4 Masters in Education, Sports Training and Entity Management, at the UPO in Seville and UCAM in Murcia. In addition, they have recently completed the highest qualification at a specific level in Judo, that of Higher Sports Technicians, within the referential framework of Special Regime Sports Education that the Ministry of Education contemplates in the updated Sports Law.
Thus, one more academic year, the TSV intends to continue growing and offering the province a quality, safe education based on experience and evidence, implementing its TSV motto in its didactics: Work – Dream – Value.
