US basketball professional Kevin Porter Jr. of the Houston Rockets has been temporarily arrested on suspicion of bodily harm in connection with the strangulation of a woman. This is reported by several US media outlets, citing police sources.
Accordingly, Porter is said to have physically attacked and choked his girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick in a hotel room early Monday morning.
The 23-year-old had the security service open the door because he would have locked himself out. While Porter was taken into custody by the police, the former professional basketball player Gondrezick went to a hospital with neck pain and a cut on her face.
