Hélène Hendriks Criticizes NAC Breda and Questions Character Assassination of Coach Peter Hyballa

Hélène Hendriks believes that character assassination has been committed against NAC Breda coach Peter Hyballa. The presenter states that the club should also look in the mirror after the dismissal of the coach. She not only looks at the role of the German, but also at the influence of Ton Lokhoff, technical director Peter Maas and the rest of NAC Breda. Especially since he was appointed for the second time.

“They knowingly chose Hyballa. For the second time. You know exactly what you are getting. It is a certain character trait, but then you still extend it,” Hendriks begins her story in the broadcast of Today Insidewhere as NAC fans they were asked about the situation at her club.

“And then you say: ‘It was a long process and ultimately there was an unsafe working atmosphere. Then I find a killer, you can rally everything behind it. And then you also commit character assassination of him,” says the critical Hendriks. “That’s not to say things didn’t happen. I do not know. Only you have to name man and horse.”

As a result, an interview with Ton Lokhoff did not go down well with Hendriks, who had to laugh at his words. “I like Ton very much, but when he says: ‘I have worked very well with Peter Hyballa and did not see this coming.’”

Hendriks certainly doesn’t believe that. “He acts as if he is in a company with a thousand people. But you have a general manager. A technical director. Ton Lokhoff, coach of NAC. Team manager John Karelse, trainer of NAC. And Pierre van Hooijdonk on the Supervisory Board. They have super short lines. They know the ins and outs. So don’t tell me it was a surprise: that’s complete nonsense.”

NAC Breda must also look at itself, given the large number of trainers that have been reviewed in recent years. As a result, Hendriks is also critical of the role of technical director Maas.
