Grand Prix Italia Master: Success for Italian Masters and Impressive Performance by Budo Sanremo Standard Bearers

The third round of the Grand Prix Italia Master took place in Millesimo (SV), with excellent organization by Yama Arashi Savona and numerous participation from the Italian Master movement, topped off by the presence of international level foreign athletes returning from the recent Masters World Championships

Excellent performance by the Budo Sanremo standard bearers, Nicholas Di Michele (-90Kg) and Fabio Coletta (-66Kg) achieved a third place, always managing to impose themselves with ippon (victory before regulation time) over their opponents and only giving in to the silver of the day in the -90Kg and to the gold of -66Kg

The federal coach Nicola Gianforte is satisfied: “We are just at the beginning of the season but these results give us excellent signals on the work carried out in the summer break and certainly the example of our Masters is a stimulus for the younger ones – for those who want to approach Judo and join our group we are promoting a free trial period in our courses which at the headquarters in Via Canepa 36 in Sanremo offer courses dedicated to children aged 3 years up to Master athletes Over 30”
