Two more Czech crews failed today and lost the chance to qualify for the Olympics from the World Cup. The women’s doubles team consisting of Simona Pašková, Alžběta Zavadilová, Eliška Podrazilová, Markéta Nedělová took fourth place and finished in the last thirteen at the championship. The men’s doubles four of Filip Zima, Marek Diblík, Dalibor Neděla, Jan Potůček was sixth and will appear in the C final on Saturday.
Para-rower Tomáš Nevěčný made his first appearance at the championships, he was fifth and will fight for a place in the semi-finals on Wednesday in the remedial race.
