Finland, Sweden or Sweden? With several intrigues, the final of the Baltic Highway Championship will take place on Saturday in Biķerniekos!

With a large number of participants and several intrigues in the standings table, the fifth and final stage of the 2023 Baltic Highway Championship will be held on Saturday at the Biķernieki track, where as a real sweet treat, “Legends” tsar drivers will join to fight for the title of the King of the North – the fastest Finns and Swedes will be in line pilots, as well as domestic hope Valters Zviedris.

“King of the North” is a unique competition, because for the first time Finnish and Swedish drivers, who are considered the best “Legends” czar pilots in the world, meet each other on neutral territory. 60-80 participants participate in both national championships of these countries every year. 23 participants have applied for the competition in Biķerniekos, among them will be the domestic highway star Valters Zviedris, the current Swedish champion Gustavs Nykvist, the five-time and also the 2023 Finnish champion Henri Tuomaala, as well as several other winners of the previous years’ overall ranking and race trip of these championships, which will provide a very for quality and exciting racing for fans! The “Legends” tsar will start the first competition on Saturday at 11:00.

36 participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland and France have applied for the “BMW 325 CUP” class, the most impressive and full of sporting intrigues in Baltic and Latvian motorsport in recent years. There are five contenders with a chance to win the title of Baltic champion – the leader is Leo Messenger from France with 350 points, closely followed by Latvian Richards Shubeckis with 324 points, followed by Lithuanians Julius Kirsis and Paulius Urbonavicius, as well as Estonian Romet Reisin. The first start of the “BMW 325 CUP” competition is scheduled for Saturday, at 12:10 p.m.

Exclusive and world-class equipment will be seen in the “GT” class race – Ignas Jomantas from Lithuania with Mercedes-Benz “AMG GT3 EVO”, Tautvydas Rudokas and Domas Raudonis with Porsche “GT3 CUP992”, Jyrki Peltola with Chevrolet “Corvette”, Lukas Laurikietis with Lamborghini “Huracan ST EVO”, as well as such vehicles as BMW “M3”, Audi “TT-RS”, Porsche “Cayman GT4”, Cupra “TCR”, Honda “Type-R TCR”. “GT” class first start on Saturday at 11:30.

18 participants have entered the Baltic Touring Cars class, including the brothers Rinalds and Arvis Putniņi in the “BTC3” class. Ruslans Riļcins with a BMW 330 car is also at the start here. This class is scheduled to start at 10:20.

In the combined race of the V1600 and ABC Race classes, 15 cars will take the starting line. The battle for the V1600 title will take place between Raivi Meiland and Ernests Eglītis, and the ABC Race between Jānis Hānas and Kristaps Laipnieks. Start of the first trip – 9:45.

On Sunday, the competition will continue with the two- and four-hour endurance races.

Entrance for spectators from 9 through the main gate of Biķernieku track. Entrance fee – 15 EUR. Children up to 12 years old, pensioners and disabled people enter free of charge. Advance tickets can be found at Bilešu servis box offices.
