Exciting Line-Up of Authors and Events at the First Edition of “Mens Sana” in Bono

Everything is ready, in Bono, for the first edition of “Mens Sana”. We will start on the morning of September 22nd with meetings reserved for schools: Luigi Garlando will talk about his books “The eleven champions” and “A girl’s game” to primary school students, about “’O maé. History of judo and Camorra” and “Lend me a dream. Story of a banker, of a girl with gloves and of books about trees” to secondary school children, of “Adrenalina. My untold stories” and “Cielo manca” to high school students.

The events open to the public will begin at 5pm, a panel dedicated to cycling with Simona Baldelli, who will present “Alfonsina and the road”, and Filippo Cauz of the Bidon collective, who will talk about the books “Vie di fuga. Dreams and roads of cyclists who leave” and “Water under the bridge. Life, fate and miracles of water bottles in cycling”. Andrea Sini will converse with them. At 6pm there will be space for football with Luigi Garlando, who will present, together with Roberta Balestrucci, the novel “The Album of Dreams”. At 7pm it will be the turn of Nicola Roggero and his books “Stories of athletics and the 20th century” and “Usain Bolt. Unrepeatable”. Gianni Caria will talk to the author.

The three meetings will be accompanied by readings curated by the Bono Theater Company. The last appointment of the day, set for 9.30pm, will be at the Cinema Rex with Luca Pagliari’s monologue “Zona Cesarini. Football, life”, taken from the book of the same name published by Bompiani.
