In Bellinzona, shortly after 12pm today (Friday), a jewelery shop in Via Cancelliere Molo was subjected to an attempted robbery. This was reported by the cantonal police.
Two men entered the shop and threatened the owner before giving up their intentions after a brief scuffle and finally fleeing in a vehicle in which a third accomplice was waiting for them. There are no injuries. The search for the robbers, so far unsuccessful, began immediately.
The police have also released the characteristics of the two main perpetrators: in the first case it is a man of approximately 25/30 years, height 180/185 cm, slim build, olive complexion, wearing mirrored sunglasses, red baseball cap dark, sporty clothes. He had a trolley with him.
The second wanted man is also apparently 25/30 years old, 180/185 cm tall, olive complexion, dark wavy hair and expressed himself in Italian.
Any witnesses are asked to contact police on 0848 25 55 55.
