In November 2022, the Hessians won 2-1 in Augsburg under former coach Oliver Glasner (49). Since then, Frankfurt has been waiting for an away win – the curse won’t break in Bochum either! The guests take the lead.
55th minute: Marmoush shoots towards the far corner from the left. Riemann claps forward, junior Dina Ebimbe (22) takes the shot and scores to make it 1-0.
Then Eintracht steals the victory for themselves!
74th minute: With a free kick, Marmoush knocks down Bochum defender Ordets in his own penalty area.
Referee Benjamin Brand stands well and points to the point. A controversial decision! The Frankfurt stars discuss the whistle with Brand and can’t believe the penalty.
This whistle makes Frankfurt fans angry!
Brand stands by his decision. Kevin Stöger (30) easily converted the penalty to make it 1-1.
So Eintracht can’t break their away curse…
