Dompierre-sur-Besbre Archer Bernard Delécluse Excels in Sporting Season

Dompierre-sur-Besbre. Good season for Bernard Delécluse. The Dompierrois Archers can be proud of Bernard Delécluse’s fine sporting season, who qualified this summer for two outdoor French championships, after his indoor season where he was departmental champion and finished 6th in the League championship at Saint Etienne.

The first championship, in national shooting at 50 m, took place in Riom (Puy-de-Dôme), on July 28. Qualified 35th, the archer moved up to 26th place with 666 points out of 720.

The second French championship, in field shooting, took place in Lans-en-Vercors (Isère), on August 5th and 6th. Starting 24th, Bernard Delécluse moved up to 19th place after two days of competition. The Dompierrois Archers also met last week for an extraordinary general meeting. Indeed, Lionel Rouault, president of the ASD archery, wished to end his mandate as of next season.

Unanimously, David Silva was elected as President. To complete the office, it was decided to call for applications. Mattéo Silva and Bernard Delecour presented themselves who were elected unanimously.
