Our neighbor Cándido Osorio, belonging to the Las Torres Badminton Club, has added to his already memorable record of sporting triumphs with another milestone of international scope, nothing more and nothing less than the silver medal that the legendary Torreño athlete has achieved at the 2023 World Games of Police and Fire Games (World Police & Fire Games- WPFG) which, in its +60 individual category, were held this summer in the Canadian city of Winnipeg.
As a tribute to such a significant feat for our municipality, Cándido Osorio, accompanied by the Secretary of the Regional Badminton Federation, Antonio Brao, was received at noon yesterday afternoon by our mayor Pedro José Noguera and the Sports Councilor Francisco José Torres.
Congratulations and continue making Torreño sports a quality mark for our municipality and its neighbors.
