Saturday September 16 took place the inauguration of the club house of the Brie judo club. The town hall was unable to organize it at the end of the work, due to Covid, so a friendly drink was offered by the municipality. Magali Pagnoux was delighted to share the good figures for the club, which has doubled its membership since her arrival as president, thanks to her work and that of her husband, Gérald Pagnoux. They have been able to diversify and modernize the dojo’s sports offering, with judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes adapted to young and old alike and soon self-defense classes, but also by focusing on taiso training and well-being, which still attracts more and more fans in Brie and its surroundings.
The inauguration of the clubhouse made it possible once again to inform the mayor, Michel Buisson, that the dojo would require, in the years to come, an additional extension in view of the growing number of people present on the tatami.
