Created in 2022 by the richest man in Lithuania, Gediminas Ziemelis, BC Wolves directly joined the Lithuanian League (LKL) by purchasing the license of BC Dzukija. His project involved setting up a team in London. For the moment, the BC Wolves – which has recently integrated new investors, such as the Lithuanian pivot Jonas Valanciunas, and highlights its ambassadors who are the brothers Kšyštof and Darjuš Lavrinovič – will therefore have a team in Dubai and probably another in Lithuania . It remains to be seen whether the BC Wolves will ultimately be the club involved in the EuroLeague playing in Dubai.

As for the squad, there is talk of the arrival within the team of the Latvian revelation of the World Cup, leader Arturs Zagars, who should be loaned by Fenerbahçe Istanbul. In the EuroCup, the Lithuanian club will face Paris Basketball in the opening round on October 3 before hosting the French club in December in Dubai. Provided that the management of the EuroLeague, which manages the EuroCup, accepts this request.
